What is this thing?
They Said is a multilingual platform for sharing ideas. It uses automated translation software, supplemented by human translators.
You can use the “Translation” drop-down in the footer to change the site to your preferred language. You can also read more about translation, including volunteering to help, on the Translations page.
Who are we?
We are a traceur and a traceuse who have been lucky enough to train with many fine people. We want to share what everyone has to say.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.
~ Mark Twain
The voice of the podcast is Craig Constantine.
How does it work?
How can I contribute my writing?
We encourage everyone to contribute! Contributors pick which questions they want to answer (see the list of questions), and we do not edit what they write.
If you would like to contribute, you can use the contact form below. You can simply put your writing, including what question(s) you are answering, in the form. You can also ask questions in the form and we’ll respond by email.
There is also a Contributing your writing page with even more details.
Can I advertise here?
We run text-only ads inline, every two weeks, published exactly like our other content. Ads remain on the site in the Sponsors category where they can be found by our readers and by search engines for up to a year.
